Youth Football Training Program

Program Details

The Karachi United Youth Program runs on a continuous basis throughout the year. During this time, emphasis is on teaching basic fundamentals of football and the theoretical side of the game while instilling a culture of teamwork in all participants.

We have a commitment to restrict class sizes to a certain number of participants to maintain quality of instruction. Throughout the course, participants are analyzed to determine their level of achievement, relative competencies, strengths and weaknesses.

As footballers, game sense and knowledge are also essential components. These are separate to the theoretical knowledge of the sport. During the course of the program and depending on participants’ achievement level, stress is placed on teaching these components to assist them in understanding the finer points of the game. In line with this approach, KU Youth Program uses video sessions with selected match footage to demonstrate skills and the thought process of professional footballers.

We are of the opinion that in addition to football activities, non-football activities also help in the social development of children. Characteristics developed through exercises and activities will help shape personalities and teach principles such as ethics, team building, and organization. This is very much in line with our aim and objectives of not only providing football coaching but also aid in the social development of our youth as they are future ambassadors of Pakistan.
