Women’s Pro Team

The Women’s Team was led by Khadija Kazmi and established itself as the best team in Karachi for several years prior to entering the national scene. The team strives to raise the bar of women’s football in Pakistan and developing society through sport.

In its first time participating in the National Women’s Championship (NWC) in 2018, KU made it to the quarter-finals while its best ever result was finishing as runners-up (to the Army team) in the last completed NWC in 2019-20. The team had qualified for the semis of the 2021 NWC before it was suspended.

Karachi United Women finished in third place at the 2024 National Women Football Championship. They topped their group in the Karachi leg by winning both matches as well as the Islamabad leg by winning 3 matches. A semi-final defeat to Legacy WFC resulted in the team playing the third place playoff against Hazara Quetta WFC, which they ultimately won.

The reserves teams for women provide the back-up to the first team and also provide a forum for younger players breaking into the first team.
