These talks concluded successfully, securing two impactful players who immediately boost our squad’s quality.

2) Furqan Umar (FW #10)
3) Muhammad Azan (MF #16)
4) Akhtar Baloch (GK #1)

Zain ul Abideen

Completing the deal as Zain is on-board.
Our first marquee signing was Zain ul Abideen, a player widely known for his composure, vision, and explosive pace. He brings much-needed width and technical quality to the wings. His intelligent positioning and quick decision-making make him dangerous during transitions. Zain’s ability to stretch play allows the team to maintain balance across the pitch.
Having represented Pakistan at the senior level, Zain arrives with a wealth of experience. He joins from a strong domestic season in which he consistently stood out with his work rate and leadership. His calm presence and ability to control tempo will be invaluable this season. Off the pitch, his professionalism and maturity make him a natural leader within the group.
Zain is more than just a wide player; he’s a reliable figure who will elevate the players around him and provide structure in key moments. His presence brings stability and sharpness to our tactical approach.
Furqan Umar

Meanwhile, Furqan Umar arrives at Karachi United with a strong reputation for flair, creativity, and attacking instinct. His ability to break lines and unlock compact defenses adds a new level of unpredictability to our attack. Whether driving forward with the ball or finding runners with precise passes, Furqan is always involved in dangerous moments.
His quick feet and acceleration give him an edge in tight spaces. This is especially valuable in matches where creative sparks are needed. Karachi United had lacked such a profile in recent campaigns, and Furqan’s arrival addresses that gap.
He has also represented Pakistan at the youth level, further demonstrating his quality and potential. More importantly, his fearless style of play and ability to influence games under pressure make him a key figure for the season ahead. Furqan’s addition gives our frontline the edge it needs—both in terms of goals and creativity.
Coach’s Thoughts
Head Coach Shaikh Hamdan expressed his enthusiasm about the latest additions to the squad, emphasizing the quality and impact of the signings. “Zain and Furqan are game-changers,” he stated confidently. “We are excited to have them on board and are ready to deliver.” His words reflect the club’s optimism heading into the new season, with both players expected to play pivotal roles in shaping the team’s performances. Their arrival has already lifted the mood in training, bringing a fresh sense of competition and energy.
Beyond individual talent, their signings represent a broader shift in the club’s approach. According to Coach Hamdan, these additions align with the club’s ambition to raise standards across all areas. These include on-field performance alongside off-field performances as well. With a more dynamic and balanced squad in place, Karachi United is now better positioned to implement a modern, attacking style of play. The message is clear: the club is not just preparing to compete, but rather it’s preparing to lead.
Other Transfers

Beyond our marquee signings, we welcomed several other key players to reinforce the squad. Goalkeeper Akhtar Baloch rejoined Karachi United following a strong individual spell at Shahid Memorial FC. Despite the team’s struggles, Akhtar remained a standout performer. His return adds experience and reliability between the posts.
Muhammad Azan also re-signed with the club after developing into one of Karachi’s most promising young midfielders. Having represented Pakistan at the U17 level, he brings energy and a bright future to the team. Additionally, the versatile Nabi Bux joins as a valuable utility player, capable of operating in both midfield and defense. His flexibility allows the coaching staff to adjust systems without compromising balance or intensity.
Looking Forward
With these signings, Karachi United enters the new season with renewed belief, greater depth, and a clear sense of direction. The squad now features a balanced mix of emerging talents and experienced professionals, allowing for more tactical flexibility across competitions. Each player has been brought in with a specific role in mind, strengthening key areas that required reinforcement last season. This thoughtful recruitment approach ensures that the team is better equipped to handle the physical and mental demands of a long campaign.
Looking ahead, the club’s objective remains focused and ambitious. We aim to build on recent successes by playing bold, attacking football while maintaining the discipline and unity that define our identity. These additions are not just about the present, but rather investments in the club’s long-term vision. By creating a more competitive environment, we hope to push every player to raise their level and drive Karachi United towards greater achievements.
